French Dip Bites
Buttery, flaky biscuit pockets stuffed with tender roast beef and melty Swiss cheese, then baked until golden brown. Served with rich au jus for dipping, these bite-sized sandwiches are perfect for parties, game days, or an easy family dinner!
Ingredients
For the French Dip Bites:
- 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 8 slices Swiss cheese, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
For the Au Jus:
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
- Place a portion of roast beef and a piece of Swiss cheese in the center of each biscuit.
- Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal, forming a ball.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush generously over each biscuit pocket.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the au jus according to the package directions using 2 cups of water.
- Serve the warm French Dip Bites with the au jus on the side for dipping.
Tips
- Add caramelized onions for extra flavor.
- Substitute provolone cheese for Swiss if preferred.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan before baking for a cheesy crust.
