Roasted Cabbage Steaks with Cheese & Spices

Ingredients
- 1 large green cabbage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage and slice it into ¾-inch thick steaks.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush both sides with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the cabbage steaks.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, carefully flipping halfway through cooking.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over each steak.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
