Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil
  • Pinch of salt

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sesame seeds
  • Everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Grease a microwave-safe mug or ramekin lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In the mug, whisk together the egg and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well until no lumps remain.
  4. Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave power.
  5. Let the bread cool for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges and remove from the mug.
  6. Slice in half and toast if desired for a firmer texture.
