Twisted Sugar Puff Pastry Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. - Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush the pastry with melted butter.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle evenly over the pastry.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
These sweet crispy pastry twists are perfect with coffee or tea and take only minutes to make.
