Pineapple Angel Bars
Description
Light, fluffy, and incredibly moist dessert bars made with crushed pineapple and airy Angel Food Cake mix. These bars are sweet, tropical, and require just a couple of ingredients—perfect for a quick treat.
Ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz / 565 g) crushed pineapple (with juice, not drained)
- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, add the angel food cake mix.
- Pour in the crushed pineapple with all its juice.
- Mix well until the batter becomes light, foamy, and fully combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract (optional).
- Pour batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan (8×8 or 9×9 inch).
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden on top and set.
- Let cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar and cut into bars.
