April Sweetness Only 4 Ingredients Cake
This is a super easy slow cooker dessert—soft cake with a sweet, glossy top.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
- 1 can pumpkin purée (15 oz, NOT pumpkin pie filling)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Prepare slow cooker
Lightly grease it with butter or spray. - Make the batter
Mix the cake mix + pumpkin purée until thick and smooth. - Add to slow cooker
Spread the batter evenly. - Prepare topping
In another bowl, mix condensed milk + pumpkin spice. - Pour (don’t stir!)
Pour the mixture over the batter. It will create a soft, glossy layer while cooking. - Cook
- HIGH: 2–2.5 hours
- LOW: 4–4.5 hours
Until set on edges and slightly soft in the center.
- Rest & serve
Let it sit 10–15 minutes, then scoop and serve warm.
Serving ideas
- Add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
- Serve with tea or coffee
- Add fruits like oranges or pears on the side
