 Crispy Pork Belly Bites

 Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork belly (cut into cubes)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for a sweet glaze)

 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pork
    • Pat the pork belly dry (very important for crispiness).
    • Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Season
    • Mix with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, soy sauce.
    • Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for better flavor).
  3. Bake
    • Preheat oven to 200°C.
    • Place pieces on a baking tray (skin side up if possible).
    • Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden.
  4. Crisp it up
    • Turn on the grill (broiler) for 5–10 minutes until the top gets super crispy.
  5. Optional glaze
    • Toss with honey or a garlic sauce while hot.

 Tips:

  • Dry skin = extra crunch
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • You can also use an air fryer (180°C for ~25 minutes)
