Brown Sugar Pork Chops Recipe

 Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

These simple ingredients create a sweet, caramelized glaze that keeps the pork juicy and flavorful.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix seasoning:
    In a small bowl, combine:

    • brown sugar
    • garlic powder
    • paprika
    • salt & pepper
  3. Season the pork chops:
    Rub the mixture evenly on both sides of the chops.
  4. Sear (optional but recommended):
    Heat olive oil in a pan and sear chops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Bake:
    Transfer to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until fully cooked.
  6. Rest & serve:
    Let them rest for a few minutes before serving (keeps them juicy).

 Tips for Best Results

  • Use thick pork chops so they stay tender and don’t dry out.
  • Don’t overcook—ideal internal temp is about 145°F / 63°C.
  • You can add butter or garlic sauce on top for extra flavor.
