Crockpot Pierogi Casserole – The Ultimate Set-It-and-Forget-It Comfort Meal!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs frozen potato & cheese pierogies
- 1 lb kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
- 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Layer the ingredients
Add frozen pierogies to the bottom of your crockpot.
Top with sliced kielbasa and diced onion. - Add the creamy goodness
Scatter the cubed cream cheese over everything.
Pour in the chicken broth. - Season it up
Add garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Dot with butter. - Cook low and slow
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until everything is heated through and creamy. - Finish the sauce
Stir gently, then mix in sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
Let it cook for another 10–15 minutes until melted and smooth. - Serve & enjoy
Garnish with green onions if you like, and serve hot!
