Crockpot Pierogi Casserole

 Crockpot Pierogi Casserole – The Ultimate Set-It-and-Forget-It Comfort Meal!

 Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs frozen potato & cheese pierogies
  • 1 lb kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

 Instructions:

  1. Layer the ingredients
    Add frozen pierogies to the bottom of your crockpot.
    Top with sliced kielbasa and diced onion.
  2. Add the creamy goodness
    Scatter the cubed cream cheese over everything.
    Pour in the chicken broth.
  3. Season it up
    Add garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    Dot with butter.
  4. Cook low and slow
    Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until everything is heated through and creamy.
  5. Finish the sauce
    Stir gently, then mix in sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
    Let it cook for another 10–15 minutes until melted and smooth.
  6. Serve & enjoy
    Garnish with green onions if you like, and serve hot!

Tips:

  • Add crispy bacon bits for extra flavor
  • Throw in mushrooms or bell peppers for a veggie twist
  • Use spicy sausage if you like a kick
