Instructions

Cream the Butter and Peanut Butter

In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer or spoon to cream together:

  • ¾ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup softened butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Mix until smooth and creamy.

Add Oats & Baking Soda

  • Stir in ½ tsp baking soda (if using).
  • Gradually mix in 1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal until evenly combined.

Fold in the Candy

  • Gently fold in:
    • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
    • ½ cup mini M&M candies

You can add more for extra chocolaty goodness!

Shape the Bites

  • Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop bite-sized portions.
  • Roll each into a ball and place on a parchment-lined plate or tray.

Chill to Set

  • Chill in the fridge for 30–60 minutes until firm.
  • Optional: Freeze for 10–15 minutes for an extra firm bite.

Serving & Storage

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 2 months — grab one whenever the sweet tooth strikes!

Tips & Tricks

  • For chewy, gooey bites, skip the baking soda.
  • Swap peanut butter for almond butter if you like a different nutty flavor.
  • Add a pinch of salt on top for a sweet-salty flavor bomb.
