Creamy Fruit Trifle Recipe

 Ingredients:

Custard:

  • 1 liter milk
  • 1/4 cup custard powder (vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup milk (for mixing)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Layers:

  • 1 sponge cake (cut into cubes)
  • 2 cups mixed fruits (banana, apple, strawberries, grapes)
  • 1 cup fruit cocktail (optional)
  • 1 pack strawberry jelly (prepared)

Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Cherries or nuts (optional)

 Instructions:

Step 1: Make Custard

In a pot, heat milk.
Mix custard powder with 1/2 cup milk, then add it to the hot milk.
Add sugar and cook while stirring until thick.
Turn off heat, add cream, and let it cool.

Step 2: Prepare Ingredients

Cut cake into cubes.
Chop fruits.
Prepare jelly and cut into cubes.

Step 3: Assemble

In a dish, layer as follows:

  • Cake
  • Jelly
  • Fruits
  • Custard

Repeat layers if desired.

Step 4: Decorate

Top with whipped cream.
Add fruits, nuts, or cherries.

Step 5: Chill

Refrigerate for 1–2 hours before serving.

 Tips:

  • You can add biscuits or chocolate
  • Use any fruits you like
  • Best served cold
