Handheld Big Mac Wrap (Portable Twist on a Classic Favorite)

Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps)
- 1/2 lb (250g) ground beef
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup thinly sliced pickles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup special sauce (recipe below)
Special Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Make the special sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Cook the beef:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Form the ground beef into small balls, then flatten into thin patties.
- Season with salt and pepper, cook 3–4 minutes per side until done.
- Assemble the wraps:
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Spread a layer of special sauce on each tortilla.
- Add shredded lettuce, chopped onion, beef patty, pickles, and shredded cheese.
- Roll the wraps:
- Fold the sides inward and roll tightly.
- Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Serve:
- Serve warm, or cut in half for a portable, easy-to-eat meal.
Tips
- Add tomato slices or extra cheese if desired.
- For a crispier wrap, lightly toast in a skillet after rolling.
- Store in the fridge for up to 1 day; reheat before serving.
