Handheld Big Mac Wrap (Portable Twist on a Classic Favorite)

 Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps)

  • 1/2 lb (250g) ground beef
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup thinly sliced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup special sauce (recipe below)

Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

 Instructions

  1. Make the special sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients until smooth.
    • Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Cook the beef:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
    • Form the ground beef into small balls, then flatten into thin patties.
    • Season with salt and pepper, cook 3–4 minutes per side until done.
  3. Assemble the wraps:
    • Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
    • Spread a layer of special sauce on each tortilla.
    • Add shredded lettuce, chopped onion, beef patty, pickles, and shredded cheese.
  4. Roll the wraps:
    • Fold the sides inward and roll tightly.
    • Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve warm, or cut in half for a portable, easy-to-eat meal.

 Tips

  • Add tomato slices or extra cheese if desired.
  • For a crispier wrap, lightly toast in a skillet after rolling.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 day; reheat before serving.
