Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders (about 8–10 pieces)
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or oil, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil. - Make the Seasoning
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. - Season the Chicken
Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the brown sugar seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken, gently pressing it onto the surface. - Add the Bacon
Sprinkle the cooked, crumbled bacon generously over the seasoned chicken tenders. - Bake
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the bacon is crispy. - Serve
Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy hot with your favorite dipping sauce or side dishes.
Tips
- Use thick-cut bacon for extra texture and flavor.
- For a slightly spicy version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder to the seasoning.
- Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet so the bacon can crisp properly.
- For food safety, make sure the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
