 Ingredients

For the Chicken & Pasta

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon salt, for the pasta water
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into rustic strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

For the Four-Cheese Sauce

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Velveeta, cut into small cubes
  • 1¼ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

 Instructions

1. Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente. Before draining, reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water.

Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

2. Season the Chicken

Place the sliced chicken in a bowl and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Toss well to coat every piece.

3. Cook the Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken in a single layer and cook for about 4–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30–60 seconds, until fragrant.

4. Make the Creamy Four-Cheese Sauce

Reduce the heat to medium-low.

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and stir, scraping up the flavorful browned bits from the bottom.

Add the softened cream cheese and stir until smooth.

Gradually add the Parmesan, Velveeta, mozzarella, and provolone, stirring constantly until all the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth, creamy, and thick.

If the sauce is too thick, add a small splash of reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

5. Combine Everything

Add the cooked spaghetti to the creamy cheese sauce.

Toss gently until every strand is coated in the rich, cheesy sauce.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and arrange it generously over the spaghetti.

6. Serve

Serve immediately while hot and extra creamy.

For an extra cheesy finish, sprinkle a little additional Parmesan over each serving and enjoy!
