Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices deli turkey
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, optional
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions, optional
Garlic Butter Topping
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 1–2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the Dijon cream cheese spread: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and green onions until smooth and creamy.
- Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Add the filling: Spread a small amount of the Dijon cream cheese mixture onto each triangle. Top with turkey and a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Fold into pockets: Carefully fold and seal the dough around the filling, making sure the edges are closed so the cheese stays inside while baking.
- Make the garlic butter: Combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the pockets.
- Add seasoning: Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over each pocket.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until beautifully golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy those flaky layers, creamy filling, savory turkey, and melted Swiss!
Tip: Serve these with a simple salad, potato chips, or a bowl of warm soup for an easy and delicious meal.
