5-Ingredient Oven-Saucy Boneless Pork Chops
These tender, juicy boneless pork chops are baked right in a rich, sweet-and-savory sauce. It’s an easy weeknight dinner with minimal prep and no stovetop searing required. Similar oven-baked saucy pork chop recipes use a simple sauce poured directly over the chops before baking.
Ingredients
- 4–6 boneless pork chops, about ½–¾ inch thick
- ¾ cup chili sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and arrange the boneless pork chops in a single layer. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the chili sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, dry mustard, and water until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the pork chops, making sure each chop is generously coated.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 35–45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
- Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes so the sauce can become glossy and slightly caramelized.
- Check the thickest part of the pork with a meat thermometer. Pork should reach 145°F, then rest for about 3–5 minutes before serving.
- Spoon the extra sauce from the baking dish over the pork chops and serve warm.
Serving Ideas
Serve these saucy pork chops with mashed potatoes, rice, roasted potatoes, or your favorite side dish. The sweet and tangy sauce is especially delicious spooned over mashed potatoes.
Tip: Thin boneless chops cook much faster, so start checking them early to keep them juicy and tender.
