Cheese Steak Hamburger Helper
A hearty one-pan meal made with ground beef, peppers, pasta, and plenty of melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups uncooked pasta shells
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and green bell pepper, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
- Add the garlic and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the beef broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the pasta shells and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle in the shredded cheese and stir until it melts completely.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
