- Sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan or use nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place one in each muffin cup.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Immediately press the center of each cookie with the back of a teaspoon or a small tart tamper to create a cup. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Make the Filling
- Heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
- Pour it over the chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Add the butter and stir until smooth and glossy.
Assemble
- Spoon or pipe the warm chocolate ganache into each cooled cookie cup.
- Decorate with your favorite toppings if desired.
- Let the chocolate set at room temperature, or chill for 20–30 minutes for a firmer center.
Tips
- Don’t overbake the cookie cups—they’ll stay soft and chewy.
- Fill them with peanut butter, caramel, or hazelnut spread for delicious variations.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
