Crispy Fried Chicken Gizzards

Instructions:
- Cook the Gizzards

- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 45–60 minutes, or until tender.
- Drain and allow them to cool slightly.
- Marinate
- In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the cooked gizzards and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best flavor.
- Prepare the Coating
- Place the flour in a shallow dish.

- Heat the Oil
- Pour about 2 inches of oil into a deep skillet or fryer.
- Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
