Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 8 breakfast sausage links, cooked
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Scramble the eggs until just cooked. Remove from heat.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs on the wide end of each triangle. Add one sausage link and a half slice of cheddar cheese.
- Roll each crescent up tightly starting from the wide end.
- Arrange the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm for a quick and hearty breakfast.
Tips
- Add diced peppers or onions for extra flavor.
- Serve with salsa or hot sauce.
- These can be made ahead and reheated for busy mornings.
