Garlic Steak with Skillet Potatoes

Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 1/2 kg thinly sliced steak
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Spicy paprika, to taste

For the Potatoes

  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then cook for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy. Stir occasionally.
  3. Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add the sliced steak and season with salt, black pepper, and spicy paprika.
  7. Cook the steak for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your liking.
  8. Return the potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
