Keto Mushroom Swiss Burger Bowl

A bunless, low-carb burger bowl packed with juicy seasoned beef, buttery sautéed mushrooms, melty Swiss cheese, and crisp fresh toppings. All the flavor of a classic mushroom Swiss burger — without the carbs.

🧂 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

For the beef

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

For the mushrooms

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1½ cups sliced mushrooms
  • Pinch of salt

Toppings

  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups chopped lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • Pickles, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)

Simple burger sauce (optional)

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard

 Instructions

  1. Cook the beef
    Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Sauté the mushrooms
    In the same pan, melt butter. Add mushrooms and a pinch of salt. Sauté until golden and tender (5–7 minutes).
  3. Melt the cheese
    Lower heat. Place Swiss slices over the hot beef and cover briefly to melt.
  4. Build the bowl
    Add lettuce to bowls. Top with cheesy beef, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, pickles, and avocado.
  5. Drizzle sauce
    Mix sauce ingredients and spoon over the top.

  • Add crispy bacon for extra fat and flavor.
