Slow Cooker Lemon Blueberry Dump Cake

This easy dessert is bursting with sweet blueberries and fresh lemon flavor, all with just 4 simple ingredients. Perfect for busy days when you want a homemade treat without much effort!

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) blueberry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional Extras

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Lemon zest
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker
    Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Add the blueberry layer
    Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly across the bottom.
  3. Add lemon flavor
    Drizzle the lemon juice over the blueberries.
  4. Dump the cake mix
    Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly on top. Do not stir.
  5. Pour melted butter
    Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much surface as possible.
  6. Cook
    Cover and cook on:

    • High: 2 to 2½ hours
    • Low: 4 hours

    The top should look set and slightly golden around the edges.

  7. Serve
    Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Tips

  • Add white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
  • Frozen blueberries work great too.
  • For a stronger lemon flavor, mix in extra lemon zest.
