Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes

 Ingredients

  • 4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 (about 450–500 g) box scalloped potatoes mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt & black pepper (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  1. Prep the slow cooker Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with a bit of oil or cooking spray.
  2. Mix the potatoes In a bowl, combine the scalloped potato mix (sauce packet + potato slices), cream soup, and milk. Stir well.
  3. Layer the base Pour half of the potato mixture into the slow cooker.
  4. Add pork chops Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.
  5. Top it off Pour the remaining potato mixture over the pork chops, making sure everything is covered.
  6. Cook
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
      Cook until pork is tender and potatoes are soft.
  7. Finish & serve Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving so it thickens slightly.

Tips

  • Add shredded cheese on top in the last 20 minutes for extra creaminess.
  • You can add sliced onions or garlic for more flavor.
  • If pork chops are very thick, cook closer to the longer time range.
