Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 (about 450–500 g) box scalloped potatoes mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
- 1 cup milk
- Salt & black pepper (optional but recommended)
Instructions
- Prep the slow cooker Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with a bit of oil or cooking spray.
- Mix the potatoes In a bowl, combine the scalloped potato mix (sauce packet + potato slices), cream soup, and milk. Stir well.
- Layer the base Pour half of the potato mixture into the slow cooker.
- Add pork chops Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the potatoes.
- Top it off Pour the remaining potato mixture over the pork chops, making sure everything is covered.
- Cook
- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Cook until pork is tender and potatoes are soft.
- Finish & serve Let it sit for 5–10 minutes before serving so it thickens slightly.
Tips
- Add shredded cheese on top in the last 20 minutes for extra creaminess.
- You can add sliced onions or garlic for more flavor.
- If pork chops are very thick, cook closer to the longer time range.
