Ingredients
For the crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
Cheesecake layer:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
Pudding layer:
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups cold milk
Topping:
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- Extra whipped cream (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
1. Make the crust
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
Place in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to set.
2. Cheesecake layer
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Fold in whipped topping gently until fluffy.
Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
3. Pudding layer
In a separate bowl, whisk instant pudding mix with cold milk.
Let it thicken for 3–5 minutes, then spread over cheesecake layer.
4. Final topping
Spread cherry pie filling evenly on top.
Add extra whipped cream if desired for decoration.
5. Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best) before serving.
Tips
- For extra crunch, add chopped pecans or cookie crumbs on top.
