Ingredients
For the Dough
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
For the Peach Filling
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned, drained well)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
For the Cobbler Crumble
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp cold butter
Vanilla Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Make the Dough
In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Prepare the Peach Filling
In a bowl, mix diced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
The cornstarch helps thicken the peach juices while baking so the rolls stay gooey instead of soggy.
3. Make the Crumble
Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Cut in cold butter with a fork until crumbly.
This gives the rolls that classic peach cobbler texture on top
4. Assemble the Rolls
Roll the dough into a large rectangle.
Spread softened butter over the dough, then add the peach mixture evenly.
Roll tightly into a log and slice into 10–12 rolls.
Place the rolls into a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle the cobbler crumble over the top.
Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
5. Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Your kitchen will smell AMAZING
6. Add the Glaze
Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together until smooth.
Drizzle generously over warm rolls so it melts into every swirl.
