Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne or rotini works best)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ½ cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- ¼ cup chopped pickles (optional, for “cheeseburger” vibe )
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. - Cook the beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Drain excess fat. - Add garlic & bacon
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add crumbled bacon and mix well. - Make the Alfredo sauce
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter and let it melt.
Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring continuously. - Add cheeses
Mix in cream cheese until smooth.
Then add cheddar and Parmesan, stirring until melted and creamy. - Combine everything
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. - Optional toppings
Stir in diced tomatoes and pickles if using. - Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra cheese if you like. Serve hot!
Tips:
- Want it extra indulgent? Add more bacon
- For a spicy kick, toss in some crushed red pepper
- You can swap ground beef for ground turkey for a lighter version
