  • 4 wheat or corn tortillas
  • 300 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
  • 1 mild onion, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 100 g grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce or salsa
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the filling:

  3. Season:
Add paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble the tacos:
Place some of the meat mixture onto each tortilla. Sprinkle grated cheese on top, then fold the tortillas in half.
  5. Bake:
Arrange the tacos in a baking dish. Sprinkle extra cheese on top.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve:
Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley or cilantro if desired, and serve hot.

Tip: Serve with sour cream, guacamole, or a fresh salad on the side for extra flavor.
