 Easy Slow Cooker Rice Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice (long grain or medium grain)
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream (optional but makes it extra creamy)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Add everything to the slow cooker Put the rice, milk, cream, sugar, salt, and cinnamon into the slow cooker. Stir well.
  3. Cook slowly Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours. Stir once or twice during cooking to prevent sticking.
  4. Check texture The pudding is ready when the rice is soft and the mixture is thick and creamy.
  5. Finish it Stir in vanilla extract and raisins (if using) during the last 10–15 minutes.

Serving:

  • Serve warm for comfort food vibes
  • Or chill it in the fridge for a cold creamy dessert
  • Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top if you like
