Easy Slow Cooker Rice Pudding
Ingredients:
- 1 cup uncooked white rice (long grain or medium grain)
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream (optional but makes it extra creamy)
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add everything to the slow cooker Put the rice, milk, cream, sugar, salt, and cinnamon into the slow cooker. Stir well.
- Cook slowly Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours. Stir once or twice during cooking to prevent sticking.
- Check texture The pudding is ready when the rice is soft and the mixture is thick and creamy.
- Finish it Stir in vanilla extract and raisins (if using) during the last 10–15 minutes.
Serving:
- Serve warm for comfort food vibes
- Or chill it in the fridge for a cold creamy dessert
- Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top if you like
