No-Knead Seed Bread (Bowl Bread)

 Ingredients

  • 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) warm water
  • 3–4 tablespoons mixed seeds (sunflower, flax, sesame, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Mix the dough
    In a bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, yeast, and seeds. Add warm water and mix with a spoon until you get a sticky dough (like in the image).
  2. First rise
    Cover and let it rest for 1–2 hours (or until doubled in size).
  3. Prepare the bowl
    Grease a small oven-safe glass bowl or ramekin. Sprinkle extra seeds at the bottom and sides.
  4. Shape & second rise
    Transfer the dough into the bowl (no kneading needed). Smooth the top and add more seeds. Let it rise another 30–45 minutes.
  5. Bake
    Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–40 minutes until golden brown on top.
  6. Cool & slice
    Let it cool slightly, then remove from the bowl and slice like shown.

 Tips

  • For extra crunch: brush the top with a little water before baking and add more seeds.
  • You can replace part of the flour with whole wheat for a healthier version.
  • If you want a crispier crust, bake 5–10 minutes longer outside the bowl at the end.
