Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake
Ingredients:
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
- 2 cups apple pie filling (or 2 apples, peeled & diced)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: 1/4 cup heavy cream (for extra softness)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into small bite-size pieces.
(Keep the icing for later!) - Prepare apples:
- If using fresh apples: cook them in a pan with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for 5–7 minutes until soft.
- If using apple pie filling: just use it
- Assemble:
- Grease a baking dish.
- Add cinnamon roll pieces.
- Spread apples on top.
- Mix slightly so flavors combine.
- Optional step: Pour heavy cream over everything (makes it extra soft and rich).
- Bake for 25–35 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Finish:
Drizzle the icing (from the cans) on top while still warm.
Tips:
- Use Granny Smith apples for a nice sweet + slightly tart flavor.
- Add nuts or caramel sauce if you want it more fancy
