Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the filling
In a bowl, mix together:- shredded chicken
- Alfredo sauce
- mozzarella cheese
- garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
Stir until everything is well combined.
- Roll out the dough
- Divide the pizza dough into 2–4 portions (depending on size you want).
- Roll each portion into a circle (about 6–8 inches wide).
- Fill the calzones
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one half of each dough circle.
- Leave a small border around the edges.
- Seal them
- Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape.
- Press edges together and seal with a fork.
- Brush with oil
- Lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
- Optional: sprinkle Parmesan on top for extra flavor.
- Air fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F)
- Place calzones in the basket (don’t overcrowd).
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool & serve
- Let them cool for a few minutes before eating (filling is hot!).
- Serve with extra Alfredo or marinara sauce for dipping.
Tips
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor
- Use rotisserie chicken to save time
- Don’t overfill or they may burst in the air fryer
