Marry Me Chicken Creamy, Flavor-Packed Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 6 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
- Onion powder (to taste)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
- Cajun seasoning (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (to taste)
- Italian herbs (to taste)
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
Instructions
- Season the Chicken
Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with all the spices (onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs). - Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and sear for about 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove and set aside (they don’t need to be fully cooked yet). - Make the Sauce
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
Add butter and minced garlic, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. - Deglaze
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the flavorful bits from the pan. - Creamy Base
Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Stir until smooth and slightly thickened. - Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes
Mix them into the sauce for that signature rich flavor. - Combine & Simmer
Return chicken to the pan.
Spoon sauce over the top, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

- For extra flavor, use oil from the sun-dried tomatoes jar
