 Marry Me Chicken Creamy, Flavor-Packed Chicken Thighs

 Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 6 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • Onion powder (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Cajun seasoning (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Paprika (to taste)
  • Italian herbs (to taste)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)

 Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken
    Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with all the spices (onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs).
  2. Sear the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add chicken and sear for about 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown.
    Remove and set aside (they don’t need to be fully cooked yet).
  3. Make the Sauce
    In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.
    Add butter and minced garlic, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze
    Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the flavorful bits from the pan.
  5. Creamy Base
    Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
    Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes
    Mix them into the sauce for that signature rich flavor.
  7. Combine & Simmer
    Return chicken to the pan.
    Spoon sauce over the top, cover, and simmer for 10–15 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

 Serving Ideas

  • Serve over pasta
  • With mashed potatoes
  • Or rice  to soak up that creamy sauce

 Tips

  • For extra flavor, use oil from the sun-dried tomatoes jar
  • Add spinach at the end for a fresh twist
  • Boneless chicken cooks faster if you’re in a hurry
