Homemade Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets

Homemade Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–24 slices pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough
    • If using crescent dough, separate into rectangles and pinch the seams closed.
    • If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into small rectangles.
  3. Add the filling
Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each rectangle. Top with mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni.
  4. Seal the pockets
Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges with a fork to seal tightly.
  5. Season the tops
Brush each pocket with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and Parmesan.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Tips

  • Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Don’t overfill, or the cheese may leak out.
  • These freeze well—reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
