Homemade Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–24 slices pepperoni (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough
- If using crescent dough, separate into rectangles and pinch the seams closed.
- If using pizza dough, roll it out and cut into small rectangles.
- Add the filling
Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each rectangle. Top with mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni. - Seal the pockets
Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges with a fork to seal tightly. - Season the tops
Brush each pocket with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and Parmesan. - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Tips
- Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Don’t overfill, or the cheese may leak out.
- These freeze well—reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
