Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split, tips removed)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (NOT baking soda)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels (this is key for crispiness).
  3. Toss wings with baking powder + seasonings.
  4. Place on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  5. Bake:
    • 20 minutes, flip
    • 25–30 more minutes until crispy and golden

 Quick Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Optional: dash of garlic powder

Mix and toss wings in it right after baking.

 Honey Garlic Option

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Simmer for a few minutes, then toss wings.
