 Deep-Fried Oreo Cheesecake Bites

 Ingredients

For the cheesecake filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 12–16 Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup pancake mix
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for batter)
  • Oil (for deep frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

 Instructions

1. Make the cheesecake filling

In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

2. Prepare the Oreos

Carefully twist apart each Oreo cookie.
Add about 1 teaspoon of the cheesecake mixture to the center, then sandwich it back together.

3. Freeze

Place the filled Oreos on a tray and freeze for 30–45 minutes. This helps them hold their shape when frying.

4. Make the batter

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

  • Pancake mix
  • Milk
  • Egg
  • Vanilla extract

Mix until smooth (slightly thick consistency).

5. Heat the oil

Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).

6. Fry

Dip each frozen Oreo into the batter, coating it fully.
Carefully place into hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes or until golden brown.

7. Drain & serve

Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Dust with powdered sugar.

 Tips

  • Serve warm for the best gooey texture
  • Add chocolate sauce or caramel drizzle for extra indulgence
  • Don’t skip freezing — it’s key!
