Chicken Bacon Crunch Casserole

Ingredients:
- 32 oz (about 4 cups) frozen tater tots
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chicken mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Assemble casserole:
- Spread half of the chicken mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cooked bacon and half of the shredded cheddar on top.
- Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
- Spread the remaining chicken mixture over the tater tots.
- Top with the remaining bacon and cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until the tater tots are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with green onions or parsley if desired. Slice and enjoy!
