Creamy Chicken Pasta (Slow Cooker)
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast, cubed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (cooking cream)
- 200 g cream cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried thyme + oregano)
- 300 g pasta (rings, penne, or any short pasta)
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Put chicken, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, seasoning, and chicken broth in the slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 4–5 hours (or HIGH for 2–3 hours) until chicken is tender.
- Add heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir well until smooth.
- Add the raw pasta directly into the slow cooker and mix.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 25–35 minutes until pasta is soft. Stir once or twice.
- Add parmesan and mix.
- Sprinkle parsley on top and serve hot.
Tips
- If sauce is thick: add a little hot water or broth.
- If too thin: leave uncovered 10 minutes.
- You can add mushrooms or spinach.
