Ingredients
- 1–2 ripe tomatoes (heirloom or vine-ripened are best)
- Flaky sea salt (or kosher salt)
- Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Wash the tomatoes and pat them dry.
- Slice into thick rounds or wedges, depending on your preference.
- Arrange on a plate in a single layer.
- Season generously with flaky sea salt.
- Add freshly cracked black pepper on top.
- Let sit for 2–3 minutes to allow the salt to draw out the natural juices.
