GARLIC STEAK & POTATO FOIL PACKETS
Juicy bites of sirloin steak and tender baby potatoes tossed in buttery garlic herb seasoning, then cooked together in foil for an easy, flavorful dinner with almost no cleanup!
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Place the halved baby potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 4–5 minutes, just until they begin to soften. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the steak pieces and potatoes to the bowl. Toss everything until well coated.
- Cut 4 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly among the sheets.
- Fold the foil tightly around the ingredients, sealing each packet completely.
- Place the packets on a baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the steak reaches your preferred doneness.
- Carefully open the packets because the steam will be very hot.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Optional Finish
For extra flavor, open the packets during the last few minutes and broil briefly until the steak gets beautifully browned.
