Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 package (16 ounces) spaghetti
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
- Grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Add half of the spaghetti, spread the cheese mixture over it, and then add the remaining spaghetti.
- Pour the meat sauce over the top and sprinkle with the cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.
- Dot the casserole with butter and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
