Cheesy Asparagus Roll-Ups
These Cheesy Asparagus Roll-Ups are an easy, delicious appetizer or side dish made with crisp asparagus, gooey melted cheese, and flaky crescent dough. They’re perfect for brunch, holidays, or a quick family snack!
Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place a slice of cheese on each triangle.
- Lay 2–3 asparagus spears on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the asparagus and cheese, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip.
- Arrange the roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each roll-up with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
