Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 3 cups bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) corn kernels, drained
  • 1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add garlic, ranch seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and corn. Stir well.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–3 hours.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
  5. Stir the cooked pasta, sour cream, and 1½ cups of cheddar cheese into the slow cooker.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, cover, and cook for another 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
