Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 breakfast sausage links, cooked
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Scramble the eggs until just cooked. Remove from heat.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of scrambled eggs on the wide end of each triangle. Add one sausage link and a half slice of cheddar cheese.
  6. Roll each crescent up tightly starting from the wide end.
  7. Arrange the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm for a quick and hearty breakfast.

Tips

  • Add diced peppers or onions for extra flavor.
  • Serve with salsa or hot sauce.
  • These can be made ahead and reheated for busy mornings.
