My Kombuis Cheesy Stuffed Pasta Shells
Big pasta shells stuffed with rich beef mince, covered in a flavourful tomato sauce and loaded with bubbling melted cheese… this is the kind of comfort food everyone goes back for seconds
Ingredients:
250g jumbo pasta shells (conchiglioni)
500g beef mince
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cups tomato pasta sauce
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 teaspoon paprika
2 cups grated mozzarella or cheddar
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Bake Time: 25–30 minutes
Method:
1. Cook the pasta shells until just al dente and drain carefully.
2. Fry the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the mince and cook until browned.
4. Stir in the pasta sauce, herbs, paprika, salt and pepper.
5. Fill each pasta shell with the mince mixture.
6. Place into an oven dish with extra sauce underneath.
7. Top with cheese and bake at 180°C until bubbly and golden.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
