Nutella Pop Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (or pie dough)
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1–2 tbsp milk (optional, for sealing edges)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1–2 tsp milk or cream (for glaze)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep dough
    Roll out puff pastry and cut into equal rectangles (about 8 pieces total → 4 pop tarts).
  2. Fill
    Spread a spoonful of Nutella on half of the rectangles, leaving edges empty.
  3. Seal
    Place another rectangle on top. Press edges with a fork to seal tightly.
    (You can brush edges with a little milk first to help stick.)
  4. Egg wash
    Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Bake
    Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 15–20 minutes or until puffed and golden.

 Optional glaze

Mix powdered sugar + a little milk until smooth, then drizzle on cooled pop tarts. Add sprinkles if you like
