Keto Mushroom Swiss Burger Bowl
A bunless, low-carb burger bowl packed with juicy seasoned beef, buttery sautéed mushrooms, melty Swiss cheese, and crisp fresh toppings. All the flavor of a classic mushroom Swiss burger — without the carbs.
🧂 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
For the beef
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
For the mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1½ cups sliced mushrooms
- Pinch of salt
Toppings
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cups chopped lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- Pickles, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
Simple burger sauce (optional)
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
Instructions
- Cook the beef
Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed. - Sauté the mushrooms
In the same pan, melt butter. Add mushrooms and a pinch of salt. Sauté until golden and tender (5–7 minutes). - Melt the cheese
Lower heat. Place Swiss slices over the hot beef and cover briefly to melt. - Build the bowl
Add lettuce to bowls. Top with cheesy beef, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, pickles, and avocado. - Drizzle sauce
Mix sauce ingredients and spoon over the top.
