Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza

Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza

Gooey mozzarella-stuffed crust meets crispy pepperoni and melty cheese for a homemade pizza that tastes even better than takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–25 pepperoni slices
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cornmeal or flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. Lightly flour your surface and roll the pizza dough into a large circle, slightly bigger than your pizza pan.
  3. Place the mozzarella string cheese sticks around the edge of the dough, leaving about 2 cm from the border.
  4. Fold the dough over the cheese sticks and pinch tightly to seal all the way around, creating the stuffed crust.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the center of the dough, avoiding the crust edges.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  7. Arrange pepperoni slices evenly on top.
  8. Mix olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning together, then brush over the crust.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese around the crust for extra flavor.
  10. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let the pizza cool for 3–5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips

  • Add cooked sausage, mushrooms, olives, or peppers for extra toppings.
  • For a crispier crust, bake directly on a pizza stone.
  • Serve with ranch dressing or garlic butter for dipping.

Enjoy your cheesy stuffed crust pepperoni pizza fresh out of the oven.
