Cheesy Bacon Chicken Garlic Butter Egg Rolls
Golden, crispy outside… creamy, cheesy, savory inside!
Ingredients
For the filling:
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
For the egg rolls:
- 10–12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the garlic butter
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant (don’t burn it!).
2️⃣ Make the filling
In a bowl, combine:
- Cooked chicken
- Crumbled bacon
- Mozzarella
- Cream cheese
- Garlic butter
- Parsley
Mix everything well until creamy and fully combined. Season with salt and pepper.
3️⃣ Assemble the egg rolls
- Lay one wrapper on a flat surface (diamond shape).
- Add 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling.
- Fold in the sides, then roll tightly.
- Seal the edge with beaten egg.
4️⃣ Fry until crispy
- Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Optional (Healthier Method)
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15–18 minutes or air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.

Serve with:
- Garlic aioli
- Ranch dressing
- Spicy mayo
- Honey mustard
Tips
- Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor and convenience.
- Don’t overfill the wrappers or they may burst.
- Keep wrappers covered so they don’t dry out.
