Honey Garlic Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients
- 8–10 chicken drumsticks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- Optional: 1 tsp chili flakes (for a little heat)
- Fresh parsley or sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prep the oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper.
2. Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix:
- honey
- soy sauce
- garlic
- ketchup
- olive oil
- paprika
- black pepper
3. Coat the chicken
Pat drumsticks dry, season lightly with salt, then toss them in the sauce until fully coated.
4. Bake
Arrange on the tray and bake for 35–45 minutes, turning halfway through.
Spoon extra sauce over them while cooking for that sticky glaze.
5. Broil (optional but worth it)
For crispy edges, broil for 3–5 minutes at the end.
Tips
- Want extra sauce? Double the glaze and simmer it on the stove for dipping.
- Pair with rice, roasted potatoes, or a fresh salad.
- You can also make this in an air fryer (about 25–30 minutes at 180°C / 350°F).
